The Battle of Flowers® Parade proudly presents...

Hats Off to Texas is a celebration of past memories and futureexpectations. Whether it is through simple pastimes, holiday celebrations, historical events, or future leaders, Hats Off to Texas captures the versatilityand durability that makes our state unique. So, join us in showcasing our state’spast, present, and future as we celebrate Fiesta 2009!

The Battle of Flowers® Parade is a theme parade with the overall theme annually determined by The Battle of Flowers® Association. In turn, participants choose a theme for their entry which must fit into the composite design for the Parade and followed in decorations and costumes. The list of themes that follow will serve as a guideline; you are free to select from it, or to suggest another idea that you would like to execute as we honor our great state and celebrate Hats Off to Te x a s!

All entry themes must be approved by the Parade Board and are “first come, first served” to assure that each entry is unique. Since the number of entries in the Parade is limited, please discuss your idea and confirm your selection with your Section Chair as early as possible to avoid disappointment. In advance, thank you for your participation!
